We recommend that each receiver unit be synchronised to match the transmitter.
Unlimited number of Tuff TTL receivers will work with one Tuff TTL transmitter.
The Tuff TTL uses a "Digital Channel Matching" system to ensure a reliable connection between transmitter and receivers.
To synchronise the new receiver with the Tuff TTL
Attach receiver to flashgun
Tuff TTL will work with flashgun in ETTL or in manual mode
Mains Power Source:
The Tuff TTL can be powered from a 5V USB mains source, using a Mini USB cable.
If Test button does not function, press shutter release on camera once to re-establish a wireless connection.
Refer to Tuff TTL manual & camera manual for complete instructions.
Option 1:
Set all flashguns to ETTL mode. On triggering the camera, the same ETTL signal is transmitted to all flashguns to fire at the same power output.
Option 2:
Set one flashgun in ETTL mode and all other flashguns in Manual mode. On triggering the camera, the ETTL signal is transmitted ONLY to the flashgun set in ETTL mode. The remaining flashguns in Manual mode fire at their manual output.
Option 3:
Set all flashguns to Manual mode. On triggering the camera, the flashguns fire at the manual power output only - ETTL is not activated in any of the flashguns.
