  • Page 9 ASSEMBLE THE FENCE 1. Thread the knob onto the fence locking handle as shown in A. 2. Sit the fence in place on the rails without locking it down and, if needed, loosen lock nut B to adjust the position of the fence foot clamp front to back C to suit the length of the saw.

  • Page 11 To level the fence face 90° to the table: Place a machinist square on the table against the fence and, either by eye or with a feeler gauge, look for a gap between the square and the fence face or the table. Adjust either of the two white plastic levelling screws, B or C, up or down as needed, until the fence face is set 90°...
  • Page 12 If the fence is not parallel it can be adjusted to the left or right using an Allen wrench to turn one or both of the alignment screws, F and/or G either in or out as needed. Do the adjustment gradually; about 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn at a time, or you will quickly overshoot the desired adjustment.
  • Page 13 Hint: Try removing only an inch of backing strip from the start of the tape, stick that down, then remove the rest of the backing and pull the measure tape taut to the end of the guide tube and carefully lower it against the tube. Trim off any excess tape with a knife or scissors.
  • Page 14 INSTALLING A TABLE EXTENSION Depending on your saw model and shop needs you may wish to add an extension table to your set-up. Whether supplied with the unit, purchased aftermarket or shop made, make sure the extension table fits between the saw rails and can be installed flush to the saw table.
