PRECAUTIONS AND MAINTENANCE

  1. If the car interior is extremely hot, as after being parked in the sun, do not use the player until the car has been driven fro a while to cool of the interior.
  2. The unit is designed for negative terminal of the battery which is not connected to the vehicle metal.
    Please confirm it before installation.
  3. Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may overload or burn out the power amplifier.
  4. Do not install the detachable panel before connecting the wire.

Panel Key Functions

Panel Key Functions

  1. POWER/MUT BUTTON - Press to switch on the unit. Press and hold to switch off the unit. Press to mute down the volume; press again to resume the previous volume level.
  2. BUTTON - In USB/ MicroSD/BLUETOOTH mode, press to forward to next track.
  3. Button - To Press to answer the call.
  4. CLK Button - Press to display time.
  5. Select/Volume – Rotary knob on unit panel - In Normal mode, use this knob to increase/decrease the volume level. To access various sound, press the button to cycle through the following adjustable settings: VOLUME > BASS > TREBLE > BALANCE > FADER > LOUD > EQ Then rotate the knob to choose the value.
  6. MIC – Microphone for Bluetooth
  7. LCD Display – Display the time and other selected function.
  8. USB Slot for Music file - Plug in your USB device to play the music
  9. MicroSD Slot - Plug in your MicroSD Card to play the music
  10. button - In USB/MicroSD/BLUETOOTH mode, press to backward to previous track.
  11. MOD button - Press to change between BLUETOOTH, Aux, USB/SD Function (if available). During a call, press to end it.
  12. RES button
    The RESET button must be triggered with a Pencil or thin metal object.
    Do not use sharp object to avoid damage to the unit. Press RESET button if:
    1. BLUETOOTH does not keep connected
    2. Error symbol on the screen
    3. Function buttons do not work.
  13. 1/Pause Button - In USB/MicroSD/BLUETOOTH mode, press to pause playback, press again to resume playback.
  14. 2/INT button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to listen to the first 10 seconds of each song.
  15. 3/RPT Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to repeat the current song (ONE), the whole folder (DIR) or all tracks (ALL).
  16. 4/RDM Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to play song randomly
  17. 5/-10 Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to move back to the previous folder.
    In USB/MicroSD mode, press shortly to rewind backward 10 songs at one time.
  18. 6/+10 Button
    In USB/MicroSD mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to select the next folder.
    In USB/MicroSD mode, press shortly to fast forward 10 songs at one time.
  19. Aux In - Choose to connect and play any compatible external audio equipment.

  1. POWER/MUT Button - Press to turn on. Keep pressed to turn off. Press and hold to mute down the volume, press and hold again to resume volume level.
  2. Button - Once BLUETOOTH is activated, press to answer the phone call. Press and insert the number of the contact (by 0-9 keys on remote), then start the call pressing again the button.
  3. Button - Once BLUETOOTH is activated, press to hang up the phone call. Press to cancel the number you just digit when you make a call.
  4. 1/ Button - In USB/MicroSD/BLUETOOTH mode, press to pause the playback. Press again to resume playback.
  5. 2/INT Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to listen the first 10 seconds of each song/press again to turn off the function.
  6. 3/RPT Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to repeat the current song (ONE), the whole folder (DIR) or all the tracks (ALL).
  7. 4/RDM Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to play the song randomly.
  8. 5/-10 Button - In USB/MicroSD mode, press to backward 10 tracks at one time.
    In USB/MicroSD mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to switch back to the previous folder.

    In USB/MicroSD mode, press and hold this button for 3 seconds to select the next folder.
  10. 7/Loud Button - Press to activate the LOUD function, press to switch off.
  11. 8 Button - Number knob "8".
  12. 9/EQ Button - Number knob "9",
    Equalization select function – POP, ROCK, CLASS, JAZZ, FLAT
  13. * Button - "*" key.
  14. MOD Button - Press to change between BLUETOOTH, Aux, USB/SD Function.
  15. # Button - "#" key.
  16. Forward and Backward button - In USB/MicroSD/BLUETOOTH mode, press button to forward or backward one song. Keep pressed to fast forward/backward.
  17. RE-DIAL Button - In BLUETOOTH mode, press to redial the phone number who you just spoke to.

18 & 21. VOL-/VOL+ Button - In normal mode, use this knob to increase/decrease the volume level.

  1. SELECT Control - Press this button to cycle through the following adjustable settings:
    VOLUME > BASS > TREBLE > BALANCE > FADER > LOUD > EQ
    Then adjust values by using VOL-/+

Remote works with CR2025 3V battery.

BLUETOOTH

The unit supports audio playback through BLUETOOTH connection paired with your Smartphone or other ® BLUETOOTH compatible device.
Note: it is not possible to guarantee the compatibility with all BLUETOOTH devices in the market
(not all functions are available in BLUETOOTH mode).
To use BLUETOOTH function, press and hold the volume knob for 2 seconds until it appears "BT ON".
To turn off BLUETOOTH function press and hold volume knob until it appears "BT OF".
1St time Paring with Bluetooth

  1. Switch on our unit, and turn on the Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  2. search the name (SA 400 BT USB AX) which is from our unit and choose it to proceed with pairing (insert "0000" if requested)
  3. Once the pairing is done successfully, "BT ON" will appear on LCD Display, now you can Play Music / Make Calls / Receive Calls through your mobile phone.
  4. to play audio from an external paired device, select the source "BT" by the "MOD" key.

To Receive a Call

  1. When there is an incoming call, the incoming call's number will be shown on the LCD display.
    Then press to answer it; and to hang up press .
  2. When an incoming call is received while you are using another source USB/MicroSD/AUX, Bluetooth function will be activated automatically. After the call is finished, then it will return to the original source.
  3. When this unit is switched off and an incoming call is received; this unit will be switched on automatically and Bluetooth function will be activated. After the call is finished, then this unit will automatically switch off.

To Make a Call

  1. Dial the number on your mobile, then press to start the call, to hang up press .

Music Player
In BLUETOOTH mode if you open music files from your mobile, then the music will be played from this unit, you can also forward or backward the track by pressing the keys.

Basic Control

Power switch / Mute

  1. Press any button to turn on the unit. Press and hold PWR button to turn off the unit.
  2. When the unit is on, press POWER/MUTE (or MUTE on remote) button to mute the volume or resume previous volume level.

Mode Button

Press MOD key to change source: BLUETOOTH, AUX, USB/SD (if available)
When USB /MicroSD device is connected, the unit will change to the source inserted;
This unit will change to BLUETOOTH mode when USB is removed

Time display and setting

  1. On the unit, Time will be displayed after slightly press the CLK button.
  2. Press and hold CLK button to set the time, time on the display will be blinking.

Then slightly rotate the rotary knob to set the hour, press to confirm the hour setting, then again rotate the rotary knob to set the minute. To confirm the time setting, simply pressing CLK button.

Audio Mode Selector

  1. Rotate volume knob to increase/decrease the volume level.
  2. Press volume knob selector, "VOL>BAS>TRE>BAL>FAD>LOUD>EQ" on the display, then rotate the volume knob selector to increase/decrease the values.

USB / MicroSD function
The unit can play MP3 / WMA tracks from USB / MicroSD devices. During playback, the icon for the device being played flashes.

You can go to the next / previous track by pressing the and keys. Hold down the same keys for a long time to fast forward / backward through the track.
During playback press the "1" button to pause the track and press it again to resume playback.
Press the "2 / INT" key to listen to the first 10 seconds of each track. Press again to deactivate the function.
Press the "3 / RPT" button to activate the repeat function. The cycle is ONE (repeats the track), DIR (repeats the entire folder), ALL (repeats all the tracks).
To activate / deactivate song playback at random press the "4 / RDM" button.
Press the "5 / -10" button to go back 10 tracks. Press and hold the same button for 3 seconds to return to the previous folder.
Press the "6 / + 10" button to advance 10 tracks. Press and hold the same button for 3 seconds to move to the next folder.
During song playback you can press * on the remote control followed by the number of the track to be played to quickly switch to the selected track.
ID3 TAG
In USB / MicroSD mode, if a track containing TAG ID3 information is played, these will be automatically shown on the display (information displayed: - Name of the track with file type, - Title, - Artist).
AUX IN
Select the "AUX" source using the "MOD" button on the device.
Connect an external audio source to the AUX IN input socket using a 3.5mm jack cable (not supplied) and start playback on the connected external device. Adjust the volume to the desired listening level.

Assembly Instructions:
Installation

  1. Push the trim plate against the chassis until it is fitted.
  2. Insert the unit into the dashboard then push the unit into the metal chassis until it is locked.

Attention:

  1. Choose the mounting location where the unit will not affect with the normal driving function of the driver.
  2. Before completing the unit installation, connect the wiring temporality and make sure it is all connected up properly and the unit and system work properly.

Removal:
Insert the levers supplied with the unit into the grooves at both sides of the unit until they click.
Pulling the levers make it possible to remove the unit from the dashboard.

Trouble Shooting

Symptom Cause Solution

No Power

Speaker cable is disconnected. Poor power connection. Check to see that all the power and speaker leads are securely connected.
The fuse is burnt out. Replace the fuse.

No Sound

Volume is set to the minimum. Adjust volume to a desired level.
Wiring is not proper. Check wiring connection.
The player is on, but it doesn't play any track. The file format is not supported. Make sure the songs you store in the connected device are supported.

Device cannot be detected via BLUETOOTH

BLUETOOTH is turned off. Turn on BLUETOOTH by keeping pressed volume knob until it appears "BLUETOOTH ON".
The unit is already paired with another device. Turn off pairing from previous device or press RES on the unit.
