    ITALIANO Gestione del carburante Il motore del prodotto è progettato per funzionare con carburante misto, che contiene benzina altamente infiammabile. Non conservare mai lattine di carburante o riempire il serbatoio dell’unità in nessun luogo in cui siano presenti caldaie, fornelli, fuoco di legna, scintille elettriche, scintille di saldatura o qualsiasi altra fonte di calore o fuoco che potrebbe incendiare il combustibile.
  • Page 10 ITALIANO Raccomandazioni per lo stoccaggio di miscele di benzina/olio IMPORTANTE Conservare la benzina o la miscela benzina/olio in un’area fresca e asciutta in un contenitore adatto, ermeticamente sigillato per limitare l’ingresso di umidità e aria aggiuntiva (ossigeno). L’umidità e l’aria provocano lo sviluppo di vernice e gomma, rendendo il carburante stantio. La benzina immagazzinata e la miscela benzina/olio invecchiano e perdono il numero di ottani e la volatilità.
  • Page 11 ITALIANO AVVERTENZA Selezionare un terreno pianeggiante e spoglio per il rifornimento. Spostarsi di almeno 3 metri dal punto di rifornimento prima di avviare il motore. Spegnere il motore prima di rifornire di carburante l’unità. A quel punto, assicurarsi di agitare a sufficienza la benzina miscelata nel contenitore. Non riporre mai il tagliasiepi o il contenitore del carburante all’interno dove potrebbero svilupparsi fiamme libere, ad esempio vicino a uno scaldabagno.

    ITALIANO 6. Funzionamento Avviamento motore AVVERTENZA Tenere le lame lontane dall’ambiente circostante poiché inizieranno a muoversi all’avvio del motore. Al primo avviamento, dopo aver immesso carburante nella macchina, premere la pompa di adescamento (primer) fino a quando il carburante non si esaurisce nel tubo trasparente. Quindi chiudere la valvola dell’aria.

    ITALIANO Regolazione del minimo Quando il motore tende a fermarsi frequentemente al minimo, girare la vite di fermo del minimo in senso orario.     ENGLISH Before starting the engine The area within a perimeter of 15 m of the person using the product should be considered a hazardous area into which no one should enter. If necessary, yellow warning rope, warning signs should be placed around the perimeter of the area.

    ENGLISH Maintain the speed of the engine at the level required to perform cutting work, and never raise the speed of the engine above the level necessary. If the unit starts to shake or vibrate, turn off the engine and check the whole unit. Do not use it until the trouble has been properly corrected.

    ENGLISH Handling fuel The engine of the product is designed to run on a mixed fuel, which contains highly flammable gasoline. Never store cans of fuel or refill the tank of the unit in any place where there is a boiler, stove, wood fire, electrical sparks, welding sparks, or any other source of heat or fire which might ignite the fuel.

    ENGLISH Gasoline/oil mixture storage recommendations IMPORTANT Store your gasoline or gasoline/oil mixture in a cool dry area in a tightly sealed approved container to limit the entry of moisture and additional air (oxygen). Moisture and air cause the development of varnish and gum, making the fuel stale. Stored gasoline and gasoline/oil mixture ages and loses its octane rating and volatility.
  • Page 31 ENGLISH WARNING Select flat and bare ground for fueling. Move at least 3 meters away from the fueling point before starting the engine. Stop the engine before refueling the unit. At that time, be sure to sufficiently agitate the mixed gasoline in the container. Never store the hedge trimmer or fuel container inside where there is an open flame, such as near a water heater.

    ENGLISH 6. Operation Starting engine WARNING Keep the blades clear of the surrounding as they will start moving upon starting of the engine. When first starting up after putting fuel into the machine, push the priming pump until fuel runs out in the clear tube. Then close the choke.

    ENGLISH Adjusting idling speed When the engine tends to stop frequently at idling mode, turn the idle set screw clockwise. (1) Idle set screw When the cutting blades keep moving after releasing the throttle trigger, turn the idle set screw counter-clockwise. NOTE Warm up the engine before adjusting.
