– A good policy to adopt is; No children under 18 years of age without written consent from a parent, unless there are laws in your state or county that indicate otherwise. Keep young children away from the Sun Capsule. It is not a toy.
Starting theTanning Session –The tanning session can be activated in two ways. (1)You can press the “START/STOP” button on the timer, or (2) your customer can press the “START” button in the Sun Capsule when they are ready to start tanning.
– It is important to keep the ambient temperature in the vicinity of the Sun Capsule between 73 F – 80 F . If you have very high ceilings or if your Sun Capsule sets in a very large open area, it may not be necessary to vent the exhaust air from the fan.
REMEMBER: The tan produced by the Sun Capsule is a rich dark cosmetic tan. Make sure your customers understand that AN INDOORTAN WILL NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROTECTION AGAINST OVER-EXPOSURETO NATURAL SUNLIGHT.
A voltage between 230 to 235 volts* is required WHEN THE UNIT IS RUNNING to attain peak performance. Most salons experience Sun Capsule I (Without Attached Dressing Room) a voltage drop of approximately 6 to 7 volts when the unit is in use.
