    ISTRUZIONI PER L’AFFILATURA INFORMAZIONI DI SICUREZZA • Indossare sempre i guanti protettivi. • Lavorare sempre su superfici pulite e piane. • Assicurarsi che la lima sia stata correttamente montata sulla barra di guida prima di affilare. • Assicurarsi sempre che i componenti siano in perfetto stato e che non siano rotti o danneggiati e usurati.
  • Page 6 D. Posizionare la lima contro il blocco catena (7). E. Assicurare le barre a “T” (5) utilizzando la vite ad alette (6) e quella con testa a intaglio dalla parte opposta, in modo da centrare la catena e stabilizzare la lima per l’affilatura.
  • Page 7 ISTRUZIONI PER L’OPERAZIONE A. Impostare l’inclinazione e la base della rotella (14) su 0° (per 90°) o su 10°. Consultare la tabella per scegliere l’angolazione corretta. Bloccare con la manopola girevole (9). B. Impostare la rotella superiore (2) sull’angolazione corretta. Consultare la tabella. Bloccare con la manopola girevole (10).
  • Page 8 Posizionare la parte posteriore del componente di taglio contro il blocco catena (7). D. Impostare l’altezza della lima girando la vite di regolazione di profondità (12) in modo che 1/5 del diametro della lima sia sopra alla piastra superiore del componente di taglio.

    F. Avvitare la vite di regolazione (12) in senso antiorario per impostare la profondità di taglio desiderata (consultare la tabella inclusa nel presente manuale). Nota: ogni incremento sulla vite di regolazione (12) corrisponde a 0.010’’ sulla corsa della lima. G. Impostare sempre la profondità in modo che la limatura si possa effettuare dalla parte interna del componente di taglio verso quella esterna.

  • Page 12 FILING GUIDE • For manual precision saw chain filing. • All angles, depths and file heights are dial set. No guesswork. • Locks in filing angle and depth setting to insure consistent, correct filing. • Accurately filed saw chain will help reduce fatigue. It makes the saw do the work, not you.

  • Page 14 D. Positon cutter against chain stop (7). E. Secure T-bars (5), by using thumb screw (6) and opposing slotted screw, to center the chain and stabilize cutter for sharpening.   • Page 15 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS A. Set the tilt and the swivel base (14) to either the 0° (for 90°) or 10° angle marks. See chain chart or chain manufacturer’s instructions for correct degree mark. Lock into place using swivel knob (9). B. Set top swivel (2) to correct angle mark. See chain chart or chain manufacturer’s instructions for correct degree mark.
  • Page 16 Place back of cutter against chain stop (7). D. Set file height by turning the depth adjustment screw (12) so that 1/5 of the file diameter is above the top plate of the cutter. E. Adjust the stop screw (13) to control the amount of cutter to be filed.

DEPTH GAUGE FILING Nota: After every 2-3 chain sharpening it is necessary to file the depth gauges. A. Remove round file and replace handle on a flat file. Reinsert into file holder and secure.

    G. Always file depth gauges so filing stroke is from the inside of the cutter to the outside. File all depth gauges on one side of the chain, then rotate swivel guide (2) to 180°. Reset same angles for opposite side of chain and repeat filing process.one di limatura.
