  • Page 29 MIDI looping cable USB cable PC with MPD26 tester program Setting up Plug in th MIDI looping cable to the midi jack at MPD26. Connects using USB cable to the PC Starting the test and setup Part I Click the below icon at desktop to start the MPD26 tester.

    TEST PROCEDURES Button and encoder Test Part II An interface window as below will show once the setup selection. Figure 3 : First look. Start the test by pressing all the button one by one once at a time. When a button are pressed, it will turn green at the program interface. After all the buttons are pressed, you will see figure as below.
  • Page 31 TEST PROCEDURES Press the encoder and the center portion of the encoder will turn green. Turn the encoder clockwise and anti clockwise to make the circle protion of the encoder green. After all buttons and encoder are tested, a Button PASS will turn green as below: Figure 5 : Button and encoder PASS.

    TEST PROCEDURES MIDI Loopback Test Part V If the midi loopback cable are inserted before the pad test pass, the Loopback test will pass automatically as shown below. Figure 9 : Midi loopback pass If the midi loopback cable are inserted after the pad test pass then you have to press Test Midi Loopback manually to test midi Loopback.
