1. Electric connection
Check the bolts whether fasten and the ill-insulation both in the input side and output side.
2. Is there any hot evidence in the connection between the cables?
Make sure that the power source grounding firmly.
3. The inside of the power source
If the radiator is covered by a lot of dust, it won't emit hot unhindered that may be bad for semiconductor or
transistor. In additional, the dust accumulated among the winding of the transformer also disadvantages the
insulation. So keep clear the inside with dry compressed air by detaching the top and side boards at least every 6
months.
Make sure that refasten the top and side boards after clearing. Pay attention to that unfasten these boards may
invalidate the cooling of the fan and lead to the transformer and semiconductor broken.
Before inspecting the inside of machine, be sure to turn off the switch box and confirm that electric
charges have been discharged completely from the capacitor using a tester or other testing
devices. The capacitor remains charged for approximately five minutes after the power switch
turned off.
10. Cautions
1. The operation of the power switch in the frontal panel
* When the power is automatically switched OFF, never re-switch ON the power again. Please contact
your dealer for help. If re-switch ON the power without removing the trouble that may enlarge the trouble
or damage the power source.
* Turn off the power switch waiting for more 2~ 3 minutes after finishing welding so that the fan wound
cool the power source enough.
2. The connection between the output ends and electrode holder, output cable.
* Only plug one electrode holder or one cable into one output end.
* It is mustn't that use the two output ends signed "+" simultaneity for welding.
3. The output cable
Please use the output cables including holder cable and base-metal cable as uncurly as possible.
4. Warning lamp
Please refer to the check points for abnormal operation as below when any lamp lights.
5. The duty cycle
* The rated duty cycle of this model is 60% that means to use the rated welding current 400A for 6
minutes out of 10 minutes and suspend operation for remaining 4 minutes.
The permitted welding current is different as the varied duty cycle in the practical welding as follows:

6. Keep and storage
For the safety, please don't store the machines over 3 layers and keep them immobile with the rope.
