4. OPERATION
The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item and its ability to accept a charge will reduce over time.
We will provide warranty against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year - this does not cover fair wear and tear.
If the battery is not properly charged before first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these circumstances
we will not replace the battery regardless of whether it is less than one year old.
WARNING! Ensure that you read, and fully understand the safety instructions before use.
NOTE: Before initial use, fully charge the unit.
4.1.
BATTERY CHARGING
4.1.1.
Ensure the floodlight is turned off before charging (Fig.1).
4.1.2.
Battery charge level is indicated by the LED display (Fig.2).Red charging light will indicate charging and goes to green when fully charged.
4.1.3.
When full charge has been reached, unplug the charger cable from the power supply.
4.2.
USING THE FLOODLIGHT
4.2.1.
Turn floodlight on and off using the mode switch (Fig.1) on the main body.
4.2.2.
The floodlight has three working modes selected by use of the Mode Selector switch (Fig.1).
4.2.3.
Operating modes are: lights illuminated,followed by either front or back light lit independently.
4.2.4.
Adjust the position of the light using the ratchet effect built into the joints of the frame.
4.2.5.
The light assembly has magnetic feet and a sprung hook see Fig's 3 to Fig.6 for usage.
5. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety instructions relating to the battery before charging it.
5.1.
Ensure the floodlight is turned 'Off' before attempting to charge the battery.
5.2.
Wipe down dirty surfaces with damp cloth. DO NOT use abrasive or caustic cleaning materials.
5.3.
Dispose of broken unit in accordance with local authority battery regulations. DO NOT dispose of with regular refuse.
5.4.
STORAGE
5.4.1.
Store the charger in a safe, dry location.
NOTES:
DO NOT fully discharge the batteries before recharging.
DO NOT leave batteries in a discharged state, recharge batteries immediately. If the floodlight is not in use, recharge the batteries every
three months.
