Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Blaux HeatCore desktop ceramic heater. This portable and easy to use heater can be placed in your home, office, or anywhere you please. It's highly energy-efficient and simple to use, just plug it in and enjoy the warmth.


DO NOT LEAVE BLAUX HEATCORE UNATTENDED, ESPECIALLY IN THE PRESENCE OF CHILDREN OR PETS.

Care and Maintainence

To clean, allow your HeatCore to cool completely. Then, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Then wipe with dry soft cloth or air dry.

How To Use

  1. Plug the power cord into an outlet
  2. Power on using the main power switch at the back
  3. Turn on the fan by pressing the power button on top
  4. Press the Fan button to the left of the power button to cycle between the different heat modes.
  5. Press the Timer button to the right of the power button to set a timer (1/2/3 hr) for the fan. The device will shut itself off when the time expires.

warning NOTE:

  • Tip over safety switch: There's a tack switch on the base of the unit, if there's a tip over the switch will turn off the power of the heater to prevent fire. At this point, the user will need to make sure the heater is sitting on an even and flat surface and turn on the heater again for additional safety reasons.
  • Cooldown timer: There's a 30 seconds cooldown timer after the heater has been switched off from HI/LOW fan mode, it's for preventing heat trapping in the heater to increase safety and prevent overheating of the element.


If the heater malfunctions and the internal temperature reaches 250°F/ 121°C, the safety fuse will turn off the entire heater.

Changing Your Filter

  1. Make sure the HeatCore is off, unplugged, and cooled completely
  2. Push down on the filter cover tab to unlock the cover
  3. Remove the filter cover and take the foam filter out
  4. Replace with a new or clean filter
  5. Place the filter cover with the bottom first to align the teeth, then push it into the HeatCore to close and lock

Cleaning Your Filter

  • Do not wash filter with water or any other liquid as it will degrade the anti-microbial coating
  • To clean the filter, use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust

warning NOTE:

  • The white spots on the filter are normal as they are part of the anti-microbial coating
  • When the filter is too full of dust and other particles, we recommend to switch it out with a new filter
  • If the old filter is too full of dust and other particles, it will affect the heater's performance

  • Do not leave the heater unattended, especially with children or pets present.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not use the heater if the power cord has been damaged or appears frayed.
  • Keep heater away from water.
  • Do not use the heater in the bathroom and kitchen where there is water.
  • Do not cover the heater with clothing or other easily-flammable material.
  • Turn the main power switch off at the back of the heater to completely switch off the device. Let the heater fully cool down before unplugging the power cord from the power supply.
  • Do not insert any objects into the air vents and it may cause damage and shock.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intake or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed or couch where the opening can be blocked.
  • Do not use the heater around flammable materials like gasoline, paints, etc.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Do not hang HeatCore on wall.
  • Do not block air intake.
  • The HeatCore can only operate sitting on a stable, flat surface.
  • Children should not operate this heater without adult supervision.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not attempt to touch the air outlet or disassemble the device while hot.
  • When hot, hold the back handle or a cool side of the unit to move the heater.
  • Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to voltage marked on the rating label or the heater.
  • The heater should only be used with wall outlets.
  • Do not use alcohol, furniture polish, or abrasive powders to clean the heater as it may damage it, cosmetically, or in terms of performance/ safety.
  • If the device has been cleaned, wait until it's completely dry before use.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use, and ensure it's not plugged in.
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
