  • Page 5 Flow Components Capital Equipment Engineered Processing Units All versions use the same sealing principle and are supplied with the standard pneumatic actuators type DRM 102 and DRM 133 depending on the valve size. As an option the valves can be equipped for process control by fitting a control head containing a solenoid valve, to control the air supply to the actuator and two proximity switches to indicate valve position.

GUTH assumes no liability for injury or component damages as a result to improper handling. 3.1 Dismantling and mounting The air supply and electrical connections must be removed before any maintenance work is carried out on the valves.
  • Page 7 Flow Components Capital Equipment Engineered Processing Units 3. Maintenance Instructions Depending on the valve type the circlip in the valve spindle tension from the actuator. In order to remove replace this circlip apply continuous air pressure to the actuator to lift the valve spindle clear of the actuator. The circlip can now be removed or replaced, and the air pressure removed from the actuator.

Use the Guth special spanner and flat spanner size 17 to dismantle the spindle (counter-clockwise). Now the seat seal (pos 7 can be replaced.
