    12/24V VEHICLE BATTERY TESTER WITH PRINTER 1.0 - INTRODUCTION 1.1 - AC 5244 (Battery tester) : The use of sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology in this analyzer allows batteries to be tested under all conditions. Simplified by the analyzer, test procedures provide fast, easy and repeatable results.

This test determines the ability of the alternator to perform its function. 4. Grounding test: Like the battery test, this test is also reserved for 12-volt batteries.

    AC 5244 12/24V VEHICLE BATTERY TESTER WITH PRINTER 2.0 - SECURITY MEASURES For safety reasons, please read this manual carefully before using the tool. Always refer to and follow the safety instructions and test procedures provided by the vehicle or equipment manufacturer. The safety messages below and throughout this manual remind the operator to use extreme caution when operating this control instrument.

Doing so could cause a short circuit between the terminals, resulting in personal injury, damage to tools or the battery ATTENTION The parts of a running engine become very hot. To avoid serious burns, avoid contact with hot engine parts.

    AC 5244 12/24V VEHICLE BATTERY TESTER WITH PRINTER • Do not attach the analyzer clamps directly to the steel bolt that is screwed onto the battery terminals. This may result in inaccurate readings and inconsistent results. (Note: this also applies to other test methods).

Check the level again after charging. • Reinstall the vent plugs on the battery BEFORE recharging. Recharge batteries ONLY in a well-ventilated area and wear protective eyewear.

For example: If you perform a battery test under [New Test] and later want to perform an alternator or ground test on the same vehicle, select this item.
