Note: We recommend that you charge your wine opener for at least 12 hours before using it for the first time.
- Plug one end of the adapter into the charging base and the other end into a wall outlet.
- Place your wine opener on the charging base. Make sure that it is firmly in position and makes full contact with the base recharging connectors. The LED indicator on the top of your opener lights blue while charging and turns off when fully charged.

USING YOUR WINE OPENER
Removing the foil
- Place the foil cutter around the neck of the wine bottle.
- Keep one hand on the lower part of the bottle, then turn the foil cutter in a twisting motion to cut the foil.
- Remove the foil to expose the cork surface.
Removing the cork
Note: Your wine opener works with traditional and synthetic corks. Synthetic corks are smaller and do not expand the way that traditional corks do, so a synthetic cork may get stuck on the corkscrew. To remove the cork, hold the cork with a pair of pliers and press and hold the
(release) button at the same time. The corkscrew slowly releases the cork. Do not try to force the corkscrew or the cork because you may damage the mechanism.
- Make sure that your wine opener is charged.
- Remove the foil around the top of the wine bottle using the provided foil cutter.
- Place the screw hook end of your wine opener on top of the wine bottle cork. Try to keep your wine opener vertical. If it is not vertical, it may not pull out the cork correctly.
- Hold the wine bottle and your wine opener firmly against the cork. Press and hold the
(pull) button on the front of your opener. The corkscrew gradually removes the cork from the bottle.

- Press and hold the

Using the aerator pourer
The pourer aerates the wine as it flows through the pourer and oxygenates the wine to give it a better, richer flavor.
Note: Your aerator fits in the opening of a standard 750 ml wine bottle.
- Place the aerator pourer into the bottle neck snugly to allow the wine to pour out smoothly without splashing into a glass or other container.

Using the vacuum preserver and wine stoppers
The vacuum preserver and compatible wine stoppers help remove air from an open bottle for short-term storage.
Note: Your stopper fits in the opening of a standard 750 ml wine bottle.
- Put one of the wine stoppers into the neck of the bottle.
Make sure that the stopper is firmly seated and makes a seal around the entire neck.
![Modal - MD-WOSRCBK0 - Using the wine stoppers Using the wine stoppers]()
- Place the vacuum preserver opening on top of the stopper, then press the pump handle up and down to vacuum the air out of the bottle.
![Modal - MD-WOSRCBK0 - Using the vacuum preserver Using the vacuum preserver]()
- When the pump handle becomes hard to operate, stop and remove the vacuum preserver from the wine stopper.
- If the bottle is less than half full, repeat steps 2 through 3 to make sure that all the air has been removed.
Setting the storage date
Twist the top of the stopper with the
symbol to select one of the numbers (1 through 31) to select the day of the month when you opened the wine.

- We recommend that you always store your wine opener on the charging base so that it is fully charged and available to use at any time.
