Reset and Tamper The device can be reset to factory default settings via the VERTU configuration app or the reset button at the back of the device. To reset using the physical button, follow the steps below: Power on the Device.
Getting Started Remove the Mounting Plate, screws and all accessories from the box. Install the Mounting Plate at the desired location using the 2 Wall Mounting screws. Make the necessary connections to the wires on the back of the device (refer Get Wired Page).

RS-485 Configuration VERTU For RS-485 networks, ensure that devices are wired in a daisy chain configuration using AWG24 twisted pair cable. With a RS-485 daisy chain, connect the termination resistor (120 Ω) to DC Power both ends of the daisy chain connection.

App Installation & Device Configuration IXM VERTU can be configured using a mobile app. To download the app, go to the App store or the Google Play Store and download the IXM VERTU App. Open the app and go to Search devices to configure a device. Create a password when configuring the device for the first time.
