The AMG5514 is a compact standalone receive unit designed to transmit and receive 1 data signal
plus 1 Bi-directional alarm over one Singlemode optical fibre.
The AMG5514 is designed to be powered using an AMG2001 standalone power supply.
The AMG5514 is designed to operate with an AMG5513 / AMG5513R single channel or AMG5523 /
AMG5523R dual channel transmit unit in a point to point configuration. The R suffix in the partno.
indicates a rackmount configuration.

    Alarm Channel Configuration The AMG5514 provides 1 Bi-directional alarm output / contact closure input. The alarm input is typically connected to a contact closure switch. An ALARM IN+ input incorporates a 330R pull-up resistor to the internal +3V3 supply. The alarm output can receive an on/off signal from an AMG5513 and is typically used to convey contact closure status.
