RAIL INSTALLATION FOR THE MCMOC24
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
•
The McDonald's OnCue Rail Kit has been designed specifically for the
McDonalds McMOC 24 and should not be used with other models.
•
Please handle rails carefully and avoid dropping, banging, twisting,
bending or forceful impact with magnetic surface. The magnets have
very strong attraction force and can be damaged or cause damage if
suddenly attracted to a magnetic surface.
•
Do not attempt to dislodge the magnets
•
Before attempting to install your rails:
•
Inspect the oven cavity to ensure that there are 2 'rail dimples' on each
of the cavity's side walls.
•
These dimples are there to 'receive' the 'alignment pegs' found on
each of the rails (see diagram to the right)
•
When installing the rails:
•
it is important to align the pegs with the dimples to ensure proper
•
Once installed, rails should sit flat and flush against the side of the
oven, with the magnets holding the rails in place.
•
It is also important to install the rails 'right side up'.
•
By carefully following the instructions below you can be sure that the
rails have been installed correctly for trouble free and safe operation.
•
Please pay careful attention to the cleaning instructions found immedi-
ately following the installation instructions below.
•
Rails should not be immersed in water and no caustic cleaning chem-
icals are to be used. Wipe clean with a moist cloth, dry and re-install
according to the instructions below
DO NOT OPERATE THE OVEN EMPTY - OPERATE WITH FOOD IN THE CAVITY ONLY
Installation Instructions
(Please read the IMPORTANT instructions above before attempting to install your rails)
•
Please follow these instructions carefully as proper installation is critical to the performance of the rails, the shelf/
rack they support and any food items placed upon the shelf/rack.
•
Proper installation is critical to the performance of the oven and the safety of the
operator using the oven.
1. Inspect the oven cavity to ensure alignment peg dimples are
present (there should be two dimples on each of the left and right
cavity walls)
2. Ensure the cavity walls and dimples are clean and free of any foreign matter,
food stuff or debris
3. Align the first rail, magnets facing outwards, beneath the alignment
peg dimples as shown in Fig 1.1
4. Rotate the rails upwards, aiming the alignment pegs towards the alignment
peg dimples as shown in Fig 1.2
5. Continue to rotate, ensuring the alignment pegs are inserted in the alignment
peg dimples until the rails snap in place as shown in Fig 1.3
6. Inspect the installation to ensure:
7. The alignment pegs are inserted into the alignment peg dimples
8. The rail is level with the top and bottom of the cavity
9. The rail is sitting flat and flush to the face of the side wall of the cavity
10. The rail is oriented properly (top of the rail facing up, bottom of the rail facing
down). (See Up arrow indicator on left side of each rail)
11. Follow the same procedure on the opposite cavity wall to complete
installation of the second rail.
Follow this link to see a video of a rail being installed using this method.

⚠ SAFETY WARNING
The rails include Neodymium magnets and
need to be kept a minimum of 4" (102mm)
away from objects that may be affected
by magnetism, these include mechanical
watches, pacemakers, CRT monitors, credit
cards, diskettes and other magnetically
stored media.
The magnets are plated with a 3-layer
protective copper-nickel coating. During
normal use the plating should not wear
or breakdown, however if the plating is
scratched this could expose the magnet to
corrosion & rust.
Take care not to expose the magnet to
objects that may scratch the plating.
