WORK AREA SAFETY Ensure that your work area is kept well-lit and clean.
OPERATION MANUAL Avoid body contact with grounded or earthed surfaces. Surfaces such as radiators, ranges, pipes, and refrigerators can increase risk of electric shock due to your body being earthed or grounded. POWER TOOL AND MACHINERY USE AND CARE Use the correct tool for the job. Forcing a tool to do a job it was not designed for increases the risk of accident or injury.
OPERATION MANUAL ASSEMBLY BEFORE ASSEMBLY – Make sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged. FITTING AND REMOVING SANDING ARMS (fig. B) Before first use, you must fit the sanding arm to the tool. A straight arm (13mm sanding width) is supplied along with the following: A narrow arm (6mm sanding width) for intricate work.

OPERATION MANUAL ADJUSTING THE SANDING BELT TRACKING (fig. D) Switch the tool on. Turn the belt tracking knob (6) as required until the sanding belt runs straight along the length of the arm. FITTING AND REMOVING THE DUST BAG (fig. E) Make sure to remove the dust bag before using the tool on metal workpieces.
OPERATION MANUAL OPERATION NOTE: Let the tool work and it’s own pace and do not overload it. VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL (fig. F) The variable speed control allows you to adapt the speed of the tool to the workpiece material. Use a low-speed setting when using a fine grit, when working with plastics or ceramics and when removing painted or varnished surfaces.

OPERATION MANUAL MAINTENANCE & CLEANING Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, you must ensure the tool is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Compressed air is the most effective way to clean this tool. Always wear safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
