Introduction
The Savant® Keypad Link (SKL-1000) Deployment Guide provides the information necessary to install the SKL-1000. Each
SKL-1000 connects up to 12 Savant keypads to any Savant controller with an available RS-232 port. If keypads are double
ganged, they are considered 2 keypads.

  • Page 4 SKL-1000 must be used in the installation. Note that one SKL-1000 allows a maximum of 1000 feet of 16-gauge wire devices. If more than 1000 feet is used to connect 12 or fewer keypads, then another SKL-1000 must be used in the to connect to the keypads.
