3 Product Overview

3.1 Intended Use

The Invacare Omega H407 is a foldable toilet chair composed
of padded armrest, backrest and a seat plate with toilet
opening and a seat cover. A pan with lid can be placed under
the seat. This product is intended to be used as a toilet aid
providing stable seating position while going to toilet.
Intended User
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility or limited muscle strength. If used without
an assistant, the users must be able to keep their own
balance.
Indication
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g.: legs and/or hips) or
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to
transitional or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended. For the maximum user weight, see 7
Technical Data, page 4 .
3.2 Scope of Delivery
The scope of delivery is shown in figure 1.
4 Setup
Folding/Unfolding the Toilet Chair (Fig. 3)
CAUTION!
Risk of Pinching
– When folding or unfolding the toilet chair and
the armrests, keep your hands away from the
movable joints.
1. Hold the toilet chair with one hand at the backrest A.
2. Fold down the seat B with the other hand.
3. Fold down the armrests C on both sides.
4. If desired, insert the seat plate D from above to the
seat, making sure that both stoppers on the underside
engage into the opening for the toilet pan.
5. To fold, repeat steps 1 to 4 in reverse order.
Inserting/Removing the Toilet Pan (Fig. 4)
The toilet pan can be inserted/removed with or
without the lid B.
1. Insert the upper rim of the toilet pan A from the rear
side with the small side facing forward between the seat
D and the brackets C under the seat.
