Types of batteries that can be used
Manganese, alkaline or nickel-metal hydride AA batteries can be used with this unit.
Inserting the batteries
Remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit. Insert 2 AA batteries oriented correctly with the + and – marks inside the compartment, and reclose the cover.
NOTE
Confirming the remaining battery charge
When the batteries still have a charge, pressing any pedal will cause the battery charge remaining indicator on the bottom to light momentarily. If the batteries are dead, the indicator will not light.
This unit does not have any settings. The pedals only send signals when they are pressed. Their functions are determined by the settings of the connected device.
Check the battery charge. If the battery charge remaining indicator on the bottom does not light at all when any of the pedals are pressed, the batteries are dead. Replace them with new ones. If the indicator lights, check the settings on the connected device and the connection of the 2.5-mm TRS plug. If you are still unable to resolve the problem, contact the store where you bought the unit or a TASCAM Service Center.
