PREPARATION OF COFFEE

Fill the lower container with cold water up to the safety valve (a) (Fig. 2). Next, insert the mesh funnel (b) and fill it with ground coffee. Do not press the coffee down (Fig. 3). Once you have removed the excess coffee from the edge of the funnel, screw the upper container (e) with filter plates (d) and gasket (c) onto the lower container. You should avoid applying pressure to the handle. Place the Espresso maker on the stove. If you are using a gas stove, make sure that the flame does not extend beyond the edge of the pot. Once the top is filled with coffee, you remove it from the stove.

PRECAUTIONS

ATTENTION!
Before the first use, wash the pot well and then rinse with plenty of water. After this, prepare some coffees and discard them.

Westmark Espresso makers "induction" are suitable for electric, ceramic, gas and induction hobs.

Allow the Espresso maker to cool before screwing it open.

• Never place the Espresso maker on the stove without water.
• Only the lower container should be filled with water.
• Only touch the hot Espresso maker by the handle and knob.
• Keep the pot out of reach of children.
  
• Do not use additional ingredients such as tea or cocoa, which can clog the filter.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

The Espresso maker is dishwasher safe.
Tip: Only clean your Westmark Espresso maker with water. Do not use detergents or abrasive sponges. Only reassemble the components once they have completely dried. Do not screw too tightly when not in use. Regularly check the wear of the seal and the filter. If you notice that they are worn or damaged, replace them with genuine spare parts, which are available from your dealer.

WARRANTY

The Westmark Espresso maker has a warranty. The transaction date is the date of receipt. The warranty is void if there is normal wear and tear, if the instructions were not followed, if the original spare parts were not used, or if it has been repaired or altered by unauthorised persons
