INSTALLATION.
This product is designed to sit where the standard oil filter was on the vehicle engine
block. This means that a separate remote oil filter head must be purchased to relocate
the oil filter. Both inlet/outlets are plumbed for AN8 ORB connections and there are 2x
1/8" NPT ports for accessories for reading oil pressure, etc. This is a universal product
with a variety of inserts provided to fit both imperial and metric oil filters.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION
1. Drain engine oil from vehicle following the factory service manual of the vehicle.
2. Clean out the billet remote oil block for any debris from the machining process.
3. Remove the vehicles factory oil filter.
4. Place the block off plate into the adaptor and screw in the coloured thread insert
of your choice (vehicle dependant). Do not screw this adaptor into the engine block
itself.
5. Take the assembled block adaptor (with or without the larger landing plate
depending on vehicle) and start screwing fit onto the engine block nipple.
6. Rotate the sandwich plate while fastening so the inlet/outlet is facing the correct
way for your plumbing. Torque the block-off cap to approximately 25 Nm.
7. Begin plumbing the block adaptor using the appropriate hose and fittings to the
engine side. The block adaptor is marked with inlet/outlet for your convenience.
