Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the Wireless Presenter and remove the USB receiver. Insert an AAA battery (1.5V) making sure the polarity is correct. Close the battery compartment again.
    INSERTING THE BATTERY
  2. Plug the USB receiver into any free USB port on your computer. The operating system will automatically detect and install the device.
  3. Switch the device on by setting the switch on the back to ON. If you do not intend to use the Wireless Presenter, simply set the switch to OFF to save power.
  4. The connection will be established automatically in a few seconds. If this doesn't happen, press the Connect button on the back of the Wireless Presenter.
  5. Use the switch on the right-hand side to switch between Presenter (up) and Mouse (down) Mode.
  6. Refer to the graphic for the button functions. Be aware that the button configuration depends on the mode selected. For safety reasons, the laser pointer only works in Presenter Mode; mouse functions are only available in Mouse Mode.

  7. The device will switch to power-saving mode automatically after around 6 minutes. Press any button to awaken the device from this mode.
  8. For easy transportation, the USB receiver can be stowed in the battery compartment.

This product is only intended as an input device for connecting to a computer and as a pointing device, and is designed for indoor use only. Jöllenbeck GmbH accepts no liability whatsoever for any injuries or damages caused due to careless, improper or incorrect use of the product or use of the product for purposes not recommended by the manufacturer.

Battery safety and disposal

Only use the recommended battery type. Always replace old or weak batteries promptly. Keep batteries out of children's reach. As an end-user, you are legally obliged to dispose of used batteries and electronic devices correctly. You can dispose of your used batteries/devies free of charge at collection points or anywhere where batteries are sold. Batteries/rechargeables/devices displaying a crossed-out bin symbol must not be disposed of together with household waste. Used batteries/devices may contain harmful substances which may cause environmental damage or harm your health if not stored or disposed of correctly.

Conformity notice

Operation of the device (the devices) may be affected by strong static, electrical or high-frequency fields (radio installations, mobile telephones, microwaves, electrostatic discharges). If this occurs, try increasing the distance from the devices causing the interference.

Laser


This product uses a Class 2 laser (wavelength: 650nm, power: ≤1mW) in accordance with DIN EN 60825-1:2008-05. DO NOT look at a direct or reflected laser beam and NEVER aim it at others, animals or reflective surfaces as this may cause considerable damage to the eyes and may even lead to blindness. If the laser beam hits your eye, close it IMMEDIATELY and turn your head away from the beam. Children MUST NOT use the device without adult supervision. On NO ACCOUNT should you attempt to change or repair the laser, nor modify it in any way.
This guide MUST be retained and passed on if the product is given to someone else.
