About your SR507 supplied-air regulator: What is it? A supplied-air regulator is the intermediate connection between a continuous-flow air supply and a face-piece or headpiece, such as a respirator or hood. How does it work? Clean air from a remote source (such as a compressor or pump) is fed into the regulator, which is worn on the user’s waist.
