    PREPARING THE STRAINER POSTS Strainer posts can be installed by either augering a hole or by using a post driver. TOOLS REQUIRED: All strainers should be adequately braced using either a horizontal or diagonal stay.   • Page 4 PREPARING THE IN-LINE POSTS Line posts can be installed by either augering a hole or by using a post driver. TOOLS REQUIRED: A spacing of 2.4 - 3.6m is recommended between line posts. Posts set closer together will provide a stronger fence and will minimise bowing of the Flex Rail Mark on your posts where you want the top of your fence to be.
  • Page 5 PREPARING THE IN-LINE POSTS Once all line posts are marked, using Tek Screw in the top screws provided, attach the in-line brackets TOOLS REQUIRED: hole only to each post by screwing in the TOP hole only. Leave the bottom hole free so you can slide the Flex Rail into each bracket.

  • Page 7 ATTACHING FLEX RAIL TO IN-LINE POSTS At each line post, insert the Flex Rail into each corresponding in-line bracket by TOOLS REQUIRED: bowing the Flex Rail and carefully snapping the rail into place.   • Page 8 FINISHING AND STRAINING THE FLEX RAIL Once attached to all line posts, pull the Flex Rail taut, removing as much slack as you TOOLS REQUIRED: can. Mark where the rail lines up against the pre-drilled pilot hole on the strainer post. Timber posts: Leave an additional 10cm after the marked point, then cut the flex rail and fold over.
