- Page 6 STEP 4 Cinch the bottom of your cover to secure in place. To Store Your Deluxe Fire Pit Cover STEP 1 Lay the cover down on a clean, flat surface with the Blue Sky logo facing down. Carefully pull the fabric corners back and release the rods. When all 4 rods have been released from the corners of the cover, remove them from the center hub.
