This guide shows how to attach the RP chassis to the display unit RDP-161.
The RP chassis adds chart functionality to the FR-12.
For the details of the installation materials, see the packing list.

Open the rear cover of the display unit by removing five nuts,
one ground terminal (M4×10) and eight binding head screws
(M3×8) (positions are marked with dashed circles in the right
figure).

Detach the lid (located where the RP chassis will be attached)
from the inside of the rear cover by removing two binding head
screws (M3×8). The lid can be discarded.

Place the RP chassis on the installation location marked
with a dashed rectangle in the right figure.

Check that the stacking connector of the RP chassis is
firmly connected to the circuit board of the display unit.

At the locations marked with dashed circles in the right figure,
fasten the RP chassis to the display unit with four binding
head screws (M3×6).
Tighten the two binding head screws which are located at the
right side of the RP chassis first, then tighten the other two
screws.

Attach the rear cover by reversing the order shown in step 1.
Note : Confirm that the panel gasket is correctly placed to the
rear cover and attach the rear cover to the display unit.

FOR JAPAN SPECIFICATION ONLY, attach the newpec JHA logo mark (supplied) next to the nameplate (right side
when seen from the front of the display unit) at the top of the display unit.
