Remove the computer cover. Choose a free PCI bus slot. Remove the slot cover and keep the screw. Carefully insert Michelangelo PCI into the selected slot. Secure the bracket with the screw. Close the computer cover and plug it.

WINDOWS® XP, 2000, ME, 98 At the next reboot, Windows® (98/98SE, ME, 2000, XP) will automatically detect a new hardware and start the driver installation process. Follow the instructions. For a right installation you have to cancel the driver installation and then perform the configuration utility.

MICHELANGELO PCI Software Installation The utility configuration will now install and configure Michelangelo PCI. This could take a few minutes. It’s possible that you have to restart the PC and insert the CD-Rom of your operating system.
MICHELANGELO PCI Software Installation Click on “Finish” to confirm the installation. 3.2. CHANGE THE INSTALLATION To check the installation use the “Michelangelo Control Panel” utility. By pressing the “ALT” and “A” key, you’ll see more informations.
MICHELANGELO PCI Software Installation 3.3. CHANGE CONFIGURATION To change the configuration use the “Michelangelo Control Panel” utility , and press the “ALT” and “P” key.
MICHELANGELO PCI Software Installation 3.3.1. LINE SETUP MENU If you experience any problem when connecting, you can change the setting in Line Setup: Chose the Line Setup window and change the ADSL Head End ENV. parameter from No Line Driver (BNA) to Non-Specific.
MICHELANGELO PCI Software Installation 3.3.2. PROTOCOL SETUP MENU With Protocol Setup menu you can change the VPI, VCI parameters and Encapsulation Mode.
MICHELANGELO PCI Uninstall UNINSTALL To uninstall the modem use the “Digicom DSL Wizard” utility. You will find it in Star Menu, Program and Michelangelo DSL. Choose “Uninstall Michelangelo DSL”, click on the “Next” button, then follow the instructions.
You can use the remote access connection if your ISP uses the RFC2364 (PPPoA) profiles. In this case Michelangelo PCI will be installed as Digicom Michelangelo PCI ADSL WAN Adapter and you can choose it in RAS. You can use the Michelangelo DSL utility (Shortcut on the desktop) to make an easy connection.
