Closing and opening the harness
Put on the harness:
• Put the two plastic parts of the belt buckle together (see fig. 1).
• Insert the two buckle parts from above into the opening in the harness
buckle until they click into place (see Fig. 2).
Note: Always check that the belt is properly locked by pulling the belt above
and below the belt buckle (see Fig. 3).
• Tighten the straps until they are snug against the baby's body. The hip belt
must be as tight as possible over the baby's hips.
• The hip belt should be adjusted as tight as possible without being
uncomfortable for the child. A loose belt is dangerous and should be
checked every time you use the seat. To tighten the harness, pull the pull
strap down until the harness has the correct tension (see Fig. 4).
Note: Pull the pull straps until the harness lies flat against the child's body.
Pull the pull strap straight out. There should never be more than a finger's
width of space between the shoulder straps and the child's shoulders.
