SAFETY PRECAUTION
Please read the following instructions carefully before using the product.
1. The product should be used with its own power base. Please note that it cannot be used with other
product's power cord.
2. When operating appliance, do not leave appliance unattended.
3. Please wipe the water (if there is any) at the bottom of the body before putting it on the power base.
4. When operating, please keep close supervision to the unit. Do not leave the unit unattended during
operation as it may cause accidents.
5. To avoid being scalded, please keep the product out of children's reach and mentally handicapped
persons.
6. When using, place the product on a flat surface. Don't place the product near other sources of heat
and/or other electric appliances.
7. When operating the product, do not touch the outer casing or the steam rising from the glass cover so
as to avoid being scalded.
8. Water should not be added above the maximum water line in order to prevent being scalded by spilling
boiling water. Water also should not be added below the lowest water line to prevent the hot plate
against dry boiling, thus damaging the product. The unit must be covered up with the glass cover when
boiling water.
9. When using the unit for the first time, water should be added to the maximum water line. Pour the
water off after it boils to clean the pot.
10. Do not hang the power cord at the table or surfaces near other high temperature objects.
11. Cleaning the bottom cap and power base in water or other liquids is prohibited as it may cause short
circuiting.
12. The voltage of the power source should be the same as indicated on the unit's rating label.
13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized service center or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid hazard. Extension power cords cannot be used unless being tested
by a professional.
14. Power cannot be connected under the following conditions:
A. No water in the electric cooker.
B. When filling water, cleaning or moving the product.
15. If there is anything wrong with the product, please take it to a Narita USA service center for repairs. It
is not suggested for users to repair the unit by themselves. Please do not remove or tinker with the
bottom cap or electric base because it may cause electric accidents.
