INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND CARE
IMPORTANT, READ CAREFULLY AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE USE.
This appliance should not be used by children under the age of 16 or persons with reduced mental capabilities, or without the required knowledge or experience. The product can be used by persons with reduced physical or sensory capabilities as long as they are under supervision or after they have received instructions for the safe use of the appliance, and have understood the hazards involved. If the appliance is sold by the purchaser or given to third party users, they must receive the instructions for the safe use of the appliance. It is important to understand the hazards involved, through reading the user manual and in particular the safety warnings contained in it.
The cleaning and maintenance to be performed by the user should not be carried out by children under the age of 16 and / or people with reduced mental capabilities or missing experience or required knowledge.
Use the UV steriliser only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Keep all components out of the reach of children. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
Do not tug on the power cable, the steriliser or any of its components to unplug from the wall.
For safety reasons the appliance must always be connected to an electricity system which has efficient earthing connections.
Never immerse or drop the steriliser or plug in water or any other liquids. Keep the device dry - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Do not attempt to disassemble the steriliser – RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Regular care and cleaning is essential to maintain peak working order of your steriliser.
The steriliser and component parts may become damaged or broken if mishandled, dropped or knocked over.
Do not make any adjustments to the original plug.
Before using the steriliser always check that all components are not damaged. If damage is found do NOT use the product.
Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the steriliser yourself.
Clean all of the components thoroughly before first use and after each use.
Never operate an electrical device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Do not expose the steriliser to direct sunlight.
Do not cover the air intake.
Unwind the cord completely before inserting the plug into the socket; this is to prevent possible overheating of the appliance.
Do not place the appliance on or near hot surfaces or appliances such as microwaves or ovens.
This appliance does not contain parts or components serviceable by the user.
Do not reach for any electrical device that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately from the mains.
Take appropriate care in handling bottles and components.
Do not store or leave in direct sunlight, near a source of heat or near a source of water as this could damage the product.
Do not pour water directly into the product.
Place the appliance on flat and stable surfaces only.
Keep the appliance well away from other objects when in use. Do not place items on top of the appliance.
To immediately stop the appliance mid cycle, turn off at the mains socket and disconnect the power cable.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before first use and after each use, clean all components thoroughly with hot, soapy water. Wring excess water from the cloth or sponge before wiping the appliance. After cleaning and before using for the first time, run a full 61 minute auto cycle followed by an 11 minute sterilisation cycle.
Do not use bleach, abrasive materials, abrasive solutions or scourers to clean the product. Never pour bleach or sterilising solutions/tablets into the appliance.
Before each use ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly cleaned and roughly dried to remove excess water.
Ensure that electrical items are not cleaned before sterilising. DO NOT GET ELECTRICAL ITEMS WET.

STERILISE MODE : Sterilise mode can be selected straight after drying mode, or you can go straight in to an 11 minute sterilising cycle if your items are already clean and dry. If you want to end your function mid-cycle, press or open the lid to end the function.
TIMER : The timer will count down in minutes and show you how much time is left on your drying and/ or sterilising cycle.
DRY MODE : Dry your bottles, teats and accessories after cleaning them and before sterilising to ensure precise and efficient sterilising. If you want to end your function mid-cycle, pressor open the lid to end the function.
AUTO MODE : Auto mode starts by drying the contents before automatically moving on to sterilising mode, doing all the work for you. If you want to end your function mid-cycle, press or open the lid to end the function.
STORE MODE : In store mode the steriliser dries and sterilises multiple items, before periodically activating the bacteria killing UV LED's for 2 minutes every 2 hours for up to 3 days (72 hours). If you want to end your function mid-cycle, press or open the lid to end the function.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Plug your new UV steriliser into the mains. When switched on it will beep, and then enter standby mode until you are ready to use it. Once your items are in the steriliser, press your desired function button to 'wake it up'. Place bottles and teats upright in the unit to optimise sterilising and drying efficiency. See diagrams 1 and 2. Clean all parts according to the instructions given in "cleaning and maintenance". Ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly cleaned and roughly dried to remove excess water. If you are using sterilise mode only without a drying cycle, ensure all items are thoroughly dried before placing them in the steriliser. Ensure the contents are disassembled and evenly spaced out to enable the UV light to reach all areas. Do not wash items that are unsuitable for cleaning with water or fluids.
AUTO MODE
Clean all parts according to the instructions given in "cleaning and maintenance". Ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly cleaned and roughly dried to remove excess water.
Open the lid and place your items into the steriliser. See diagrams 1 and 2 for placement guidance.
Close the lid and switch your steriliser on at the mains. The steriliser will beep when on.
Press to select the function. There are 3 different cycles available - 41 minutes (default), 51 minutes and 61 minutes - for use depending on how many items you have placed in the unit and how long it will take to dry them. If there are a lot of items in the steriliser, we recommend you choose a longer cycle in order to ensure that all of your items are completely dry before the sterilising function begins. The time will flash until you have stopped pressing , at which point the time will stop flashing and your drying cycle will begin. To cancel your cycle at any point, press . If the fan is on when you press the button, it will continue to dry for 15 seconds and enter standby mode when finished.
When the countdown timer displays 11 minutes, the sterilising cycle will commence. As the steriliser uses UV light to sterilise, the appliance will make no noise during this part of the cycle.
When your steriliser beeps 6 times, your cycle is complete and your items are fully sterilised. After 1 minute, the machine will enter standby mode and the screen will switch off until the lid is opened.
STERILISE MODE
Clean all parts according to the instructions given in "cleaning and maintenance". Ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly cleaned and completely dried before putting into the machine for sterilising without performing a dry cycle.
Open the lid and place your items into the steriliser. See diagrams 1 and 2 for placement guidance.
Close the lid and switch your steriliser on at the mains. The steriliser will beep when on.
Press to select the function. There is 1 sterilising option of 11 minutes, which will be automatically selected and displayed on the timer when pressing . The time will flash when you press - once it has stopped flashing and your sterilising cycle will begin.
If the lid is lifted during a cycle, the function will end. Do not open the lid during a sterilising function, as this will affect the sterilisation results of the contents. To cancel your cycle at any point, press . When your steriliser beeps 6 times your cycle is complete and your items are fully sterilised. The steriliser will then enter standby mode and the screen will switch off until the lid is opened.
DRY MODE
Clean all parts according to the instructions given in "cleaning and maintenance". Ensure that all items to be dried have been thoroughly cleaned and roughly dried to remove excess water.
Open the lid and place your items into the steriliser. See diagrams 1 and 2 for placement guidance.
Press to select the function. There are 3 different cycles available - 31 minutes (default), 41 minutes and 51 minutes - for use depending on how many items you have placed in the unit and how long it will take to dry them. If there are a lot of items in the steriliser, we recommend you choose a longer cycle in order to ensure that all of your items are completely dry. The time will flash until you have selected your cycle - once the time has stopped flashing your drying cycle will begin.
If the lid is lifted during a cycle the function will end.
To cancel your cycle at any point press . If the fan is on when you press the button, it will continue to dry for 15 seconds and enter standby mode when finished. When your steriliser beeps 6 times, your cycle is complete and your items are dry. The steriliser will then enter standby mode and the screen will switch off until the lid is opened.
Place bottles (with the neck facing upwards), collars and caps upright in the base of the steriliser and teats upright in the basket. We recommend that no items come into contact with each other when placed in the steriliser for accurate and efficient sterilising.
STORE MODE
Clean all parts according to the instructions given in "cleaning & maintenance". Ensure that all items to be sterilised have been thoroughly cleaned and roughly dried to remove excess water.
Open the lid and place your items into the steriliser.
Press to select the function. In store mode, the steriliser will initially perform a full sterilising and drying cycle of 41 minutes. 41 minutes will be automatically selected and displayed on the timer when pressing . The time will flash when you press - once it has stopped flashing your cycle will begin.
Once your steriliser has completed its auto cycle, store mode will then commence. In store mode, once completing a full sterilising and drying cycle, the steriliser will automatically sterilise the contentsevery 2 hours for 2 minutesfor up to 3 days or until the lid is opened.
If the lid is lifted during a cycle the function will end. To cancel your cycle at any point, press . If the fan is on when you press the button, it will continue to dry for 15 seconds and enter standby mode when finished. When your steriliser beeps 6 times, your 72 hour cycle is complete. The steriliser will then enter standby mode and the screen will switch off until the lid is opened. To perform another 'store' cycle, repeat this section from step 1.
In order to minimise hazards to health and the environment and ensure that materials can be recycled, this product should be disposed of at a separate collection facility for waste electrical and electronic equipment.
REPLACING THE FILTER
The filter in your UV steriliser should be replaced every 6-12 months. To change the filter, remove the filter casing using the latch and gently pull the filter out.
Place the new filter over the vent on the back of your steriliser and replace the filter casing, ensuring that the latch clicks back into place.
