HI981520 Marine Monitor pH, Marine Salinity, and Temperature

Main Features

• Two Alarm operating modes (High / Low Value) for each supported parameter
• High / Low Alarm generated when measured value exceeds or drops below
configured parameter High / Low Value
• Acoustic signal generated each time an alarm is triggered
• EC probe contains an integral temperature sensor that simplifies installation
• All readings are compensated for variations in temperature

Brief Operational Overview

• Use supplied strips to mount the Monitor (optional).
• Slide the connector sheath down and connect the pH electrode to the BNC
socket. Slide the sheath up and ensure connector is covered.
• Connect the power adapter to the instrument and plug into the mains.
• Press

• Remove the pH electrode protective cap and place both the pH electrode and
the EC probe in the same pH calibration solution.

• Place EC probe in calibration solution and press
conductivity calibration. Conductivity solution is automatically recognized.
• Affix supplied suction cups to secure the probes in position.
• When measuring, please ensure that both the pH electrode and the EC probe
are immersed in the sample. For best results, please refer to the diagram
below for proper placement.
