If there is damage to the surface or outside of a unit, submit a written report to the shipping company. Check that the model, specifications and quantity of the units delivered are as ordered. Check that all accessories ordered have been included.

Outdoor units should not be installed in positions where dust or dirt may affect heat exchangers. Outdoor units should not be installed in locations where exposure to oil or to corrosive or harmful gases, such as acidic or alkaline gases, may occur.

Always use materials that are compatible with the water used in the system and with the materials used in the unit. Ensure that components installed in the field piping can withstand the water pressure and temperature.
