- Page 4 Use of this manual This manual must be considered for the installation and use of the Portable Readout Unit. Dangers and safety Warning for the unpacking of the material: Be careful when handling the packaging to avoid damage to property and / or people.
- Page 5 1. Introduction The portable readout unit is an instrument capable to give power to the sensors and to display the data coming from them. It is generally used when the data coming from the transducers are not required or cannot be automatically and continuously acquired (by means of a remote acquisition unit).
- Page 6 4. User instructions IMPORTANT: : the portable readout unit, when turned on, continuously outputs the measurement input. Switch on the portable readout unit only after having connected the banana plugs in the measurement bushings. Avoid the contacts of the banana plugs while the portable readout unit is turned on.
- Page 7 4.1 Error Messages "Memory error" – this message appears whenever the memory parameters are damaged "OVR. POS. error" – this message appears whenever the entered value exceeds the 10% of the portable readout unit full scale. "OVR. NEG. error" – this message appears whenever the entered value is less than the 10% of the portable readout unit full scale.
