For the engine of the Massimo Motor MSU 850-5, use LUBE 4 (20W40) or SAE 20W40, or LUBE 4 (10W30) or SAE 10W30, or SAE 5W30, with API service classification SE, SF, SG or higher. Do not use oils with a diesel specification of "CD" or labeled "ENERGY CONSERVING II" or higher.

For the transmission components:
- Final gear case oil: SAE 80 API GL-4 hypoid gear oil.
- Differential gear case oil: SAE 80 API GL-4 hypoid gear oil.
