    The user simply scans their badge and tests their straps. The ACL-750-USB combo tester is self-powered from the computer USB port. However, it can also be run as a “stand alone” tester without a computer and without software, by plugging its USB cable into a standard USB charger.

    Appendix A – Operation of non-USB testers The ACL-750-USB combo tester has a 6 foot long USB cable emerging from the case. This tester is typically purchased with the combo meter stand and a badge reader. The badge reader typically has a 6 foot long USB cable also. Both these cables are fed down the center tube of the meter stand, and into the USB ports of a notebook, laptop, or desktop computer that runs a Windows 7/8/10 or higher operating system.
