    Biometric Scan Test Functions – Finger Test { Index } Authority Level Required: Manager, Supervisor or Enroller Finger Scan Test function should be used prior to enrolling a new user. This allows for a new user to familiarise themselves with the scanning process, practicing finger placement, testing different fingers and for the Enroller to check the scan minutiae count prior to enrolling.

    Additional Finger Enrolments or Re-enrol an Existing Finger { Index } Authority Level Required: Manager, Supervisor or Enroller The 5100/5110 Series biometric devices allow for additional enrolments to be added to existing users or existing Finger templates re-enrolled. A maximum of 10 Finger templates can be associated with a user (one for each finger).

    Biometric Scanner Maintenance { Index } Cleaning The 5100/5110 Series of Biometric scanners do not normally require any maintenance; but occasionally, the sensor may need a clean as a build-up of foreign matter can accumulate on the sensor and surrounding areas. On the 5110 Biometric scanner the Camera Lens may also require a wipe down from time to time.
