Section 1: Overview and Safety Loading Arm Overview Racine Railroad Products designs and manufactures equipment primarily for the repair and new construction of rail and railroad tie track maintenance. The Loading Arm is used on rail already fixed to ties. It allows a load to be applied to the rail to assure proper distance between the rails when under pressure. -

910115 Loading Arm When connecting the quick couplers, the flow should run from male coupler to the female coupler. The female coupler on the tool is the inlet. Quick couplers are marked with a flow direction arrow. Pressurized fluid escaping from a damaged hose can penetrate the skin and be injected in the body causing injury or death. -

910115 Loading Arm Section 3: Tool Operation Personal Protective Equipment Before operating this machine, make sure that all general safety precautions are observed, and that proper personal protective clothing is worn as described below.
