    Warning- After installing a new lamp, reset the lamp life Warning- Before turning off the product, allow the cooling fan Warning- Turn on the projector first and then select the signal Warning- Do not use lens cap when projector is in operation.

    The start-up screen will be displayed in approximately one minute. 4. Turn on your source (computer, notebook, or video player, etc...); the projector will automatically detect your source. If the screen displays “No Signal,” please make sure the signal cables are securely connected.

    You may adjust the zoom to zoom the lens in or out. Turn the zoom ring to zoom in or zoom out. To focus on the image, turn the focus ring until you see a clear image. The projector will focus at dis- tances from 4.6 to 39.4 feet (1.4 to 12.0m).

    Using the Remote Control Power “Power” turns on the projector’s lamp. Refer to the “Powering On/Off the Projector” section on page 11~ 12 for more details. Hide “Hide” immediately turns the screen black. Press “Hide” again to restore the displayed image.

    User Controls On-screen Display Menus How to Operate The projector has multilingual on-screen display menus that allow you to make image adjustments and change a variety of settings. The projector automatically detects the source. Press “Menu” on the Remote Control or Control Panel.

    User Controls PICTURE Mode Contrast Brightness Color Tint Sharpness Gamma Reset Mode There are three factory presets optimized for various types of pictures: cinema, normal and vivid. You can customize contrast, brightness, intensity, color, tint, sharpness, and gamma for each preset mode.

    User Controls IMAGE White Peaking Color Temp. Image Mode Advanced Adjustment Signal Reset White Peaking The white peaking control adjusts the white segment of the DMD chip. “ 0” stands for minimal peaking, and “10” stands for maxi- mum peaking. If you prefer a stronger image, adjust toward the maximum setting.
  • Page 23 IMAGE White Peaking Color Temp. Image Mode Advanced Adjustment Signal Reset Phase : Synchronizes the signal timing of the display with the graphics card. If you experience an unstable or flickering image, use this function to correct it. Reset Return the adjustments and settings to factory default values. Current: Returns the current menu’s settings to factory default values.

    Bulb Source Lock When turned off, the projector will search for other signals if the current input signal is lost. When turned on, it will continue to search for the “lost signal” after “Source” is pressed. Auto Shutdown Decide the time interval to shutdown the system if there is no signal input.

    Edge Mask Projection The factory default setting. When you select this function, the projector reverses the image so you may project from behind a translucent screen. When you select this function, the projector turns the image upside down to accommodate ceiling-mounted projection.
