Ankle alignment rotates the component body about the pivot bearing to change the ankle angle without altering range of motion or resistance to ankle motion. Dorsi exion and plantar exion range of motion settings change the relative dorsi exion and plantar exion range of motion irrespective of the ankle alignmentment setting.
