TO SET UP

Step 1: Shape branches. Shift branches to fill any gaps, lightly upsweep all branch tips for a
uniform look.
Step 2: Locate and take out the battery box from inside pot. Open lid of the battery box by
releasing the locks. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, making sure that the
batteries are in the correct orientation. Close the lid with the locks. Your tree is now ready to be
decorated. Replace batteries when the lights become dim. Remove batteries from unit when it is not
in use.

OPERATION

Press the button on the battery box once for timer mode, again to turn the lights on, and a third time
to turn the lights off or reset the timer. The built-in timer mode causes the lights to turn on and off in
a cycle: on for 6 hours then off for 18. The user should initially turn on the lights at a specific time of
their choice, and then the lights will turn on every day at approximately the same time.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If Lights Do Not Work:
1. In extreme cold temperatures, lithium AA batteries are recommended. Otherwise, the lifespan of
the batteries may be reduced.
2. Ensure the batteries are new and are inserted correctly into the battery box.
