- Page 2 Important Safeguards • Read this manual carefully before using the unit to avoid damage during operation. Wrong usage may lead to damage to the product, cause material damage or harm to the health of the user. • Before the first use make sure that there are no packing materials and other foreign objects inside the device.

Be especially careful if you open the lid immediately after the electric kettle boiled: the steam coming from the electric kettle is very hot. Boiling water can cause severe bums. - Page 6 The electric kettle has protection against overheating wren it is turned on without water. When the kettle overheats, a protective devioe is activated which turns the kettle off when there is no water inside or if the water level is too low. If you turned on tre kettle without water and the protec-tion was activated, wait about 15-20 minutes, and it will return to work-ing condition.

Transport the devioe by any kind of enclosed trans-port observing the rules which ensure preservation of mar- l<et condition of both tre product and packaging, and its further safe operation. CLEANING. Remove tre plug from the outlet before cleaning or servicing the electric kettle.
