OPERATION Description A winch is a machine intended for harvesting felled timber from the forest. The basic components are welded frame, drive part, drum with wire rope, clutch, brake, and directional pulley. Using the wire rope, the logs can be towed to the moldboard and attached with forestry chains to the grooves on the winch frame.

Be careful that the cardan clicks into place on both connection points! Once the winch is attached to the tractor, strengthen the stabilizers on the lower connection rods and level the winch with a hitch nut into position, so that the winch is tilted backwards for approximately 20 degrees.
