    The RAS-Extend M antenna positioner unit controls the alignment of the antenna for the RAS-Extend M system. Two pairs of RF ports conduct the RF signals between the static base ports and the moving platform. Control signals and power are provided by the RAS-Extend M wireless terminal.

    Survey for RF Access to Sector Controllers For best results: Mount the RAS-Extend M in a location that provides a relatively unobstructed view of the horizon in 360 degrees. Avoid mounting the RAS-Extend M antenna close to metal objects that may block or reflect the signal.

    It is important to conduct a site survey before installing the GPS antenna. A poorly installed or badly located GPS antenna can cause interference and will not provide the necessary information for correct operation of the RAS-Extend M system.
