THEORY OF OPERATION

The Desiccant Indicating (DI) Dryer is designed to provide minimum dry air protection for small
ozone generator applications. The DI Dryer can be used either in a negative or positive pressure
application. The blue moisture indicating media absorbs and retains moisture, turning from blue
to pink as it becomes saturated.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mount the DI Dryer 2.0 in an area close to the ozone generator.
a. Use appropriate anchors and fasteners applicable to the substrate to which the
dryer will be mounted.
2. Remove the vinyl caps from the inlet and outlet barbs.
3. Attach an appropriate length of clear tubing (provided) from the dryer cap 'outlet' port
to your airflow meter's 'inlet' connector. If no airflow meter is used, connect the tubing
directly to the 'air inlet' port of your ozone generator.
a. If using your air dryer in a positive pressure manor, connect an appropriate
amount of clear tubing (provided) from your air compressor 'outlet' line to the
'inlet' port of your dryer.

4. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper installation of the ozone generator
and be sure to carefully follow the "Venturi Injector Install/Calibration Guidelines"
document. This document is provided with select ozone generators and is also
available for online download at ozotech.com/support.

SERVICING THE DESICCANT MEDIA

The desiccant media may be regenerated when it turns pink. To perform media
regeneration, scan the following QR code and follow the regeneration process:
