Darkoff DLG6 Delonghi ECAM
Coffee Filter compatible with Delonghi ECAM

IMPORTANT

The Darkoff DLG6 has been designed to offer customers a
high quality, replacement cartridge to be used with coffee
machines and other appliances using the Delonghi ECAM
Aqua Filter System.
Installation is identical to that of the original cartridge, however,
there is no 'aroma adjustment' as the blending and flow has
been calculated based on average usage and consumption
during the filter design.

Prepare the Cartridge

• Thoroughly wash hands prior to handling the filter.
• Remove the cartridge from the polybag, this packing is
recyclable and can be disposed of with most household
plastics.
• (1) Using a clean bowl filled with fresh cold water, submerge
the cartridge, and shake it to release any trapped air within
the filter.

Fit the Cartridge

• Remove the water tank from coffee machine and discard
the remaining water.
• (2) If fitted, remove your old cartridge by turning anti-
clockwise (left to right) until it frees from its mount.
• (3) Insert the cartridge into the bottom of the tank, taking
care to align the threads of the cartridge with those in the
receiver. Turn the cartridge clockwise (right to left) until it is
tightly secured.

Flush and Prepare

• (4) Fill the water tank with clean, cold water.
• (5) Refit the water tank to the coffee machine.*
• Rinse the filter, either by running the cartridge change/
flush procedure on your coffee machine* OR for machines
without this facility by vending the first full tank of water
through `as hot water only (without using coffee).
* Refer to manufacturer's instructions where necessary.

Maintenance

• Visuallv inspect the water tank periodically to ensure
the cartridge remains seated and filtration is working
effectively.
• Replace cartridge every 250 cups or every 8 weeks,
whichever comes first.
• Where the machine has not been used for a period of
more than two weeks (such as going on holiday) we would
recommend replacing the filter prior to recommencing
usage.
WARNING: Always ensure cartridges are remove before
descaling appliance.
