It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that he/she fully understands how to operate this equipment safely. If you are unsure about the safe and correct use of the Water Pump, consult your supervisor or Altrad Belle. -
Page 9: Hose Connection
Hose Connection DO NOT connect either of the hoses to the Water Pump whilst the engine is running. This will cause CAUTION extensive damage. Before connecting the hose to the Water Pump you must lay the hose out to its full length. SUCTION HOSE INSTALLATION Use a commercially available hose and hose connector with the hose clamp provided with the pump. - Page 10 Hose Connection DO NOT connect either of the hoses to the Water Pump whilst the engine is running. This will cause CAUTION extensive damage. Before connecting the hose to the Water Pump you must lay the hose out to its full length. DISCHARGE HOSE INSTALLATION Use a commercially available hose and hose connector, and clamp provided with the pump.

Water Pump Placement For the best performance from your Water Pump, place the Water Pump near the water level, and use hoses that are no longer than necessary. That will enable the Water Pump to produce the greatest output with the least self-priming time. As the head (pumping height) increases, pump output decreases. -

Operating Instructions Before you operate or carry out any maintenance on this machine YOU MUST READ and STUDY WARNING this manual. PRE-OPERATION CHECKS • Check your Water Pump before use and IMMEDIATELY replace any damaged parts. • Check the general condition of the hoses. Be sure the hoses are in suitable condition before connecting them to the pump. Remember that the suction hose MUST be reinforced construction to prevent hose collapse. -

Service & Maintenance The Altrad Belle WPX 3/30 Water Pump is designed to give many years of trouble free operation. It is recommended that an approved Altrad Belle dealer carries out all major maintenance and repairs. Always use genuine Altrad Belle Replacement Parts, the use of spurious parts may void your warranty. -
