Weltevree Guidelight - Lights Manual

Usage

The Guidelight is unique in its use and has three functions; ambient light, task light and flashlight. The Guidelight features a dimmable LED which can be charged via a (phone) charger with micro USB connector.

Operation and usage

  • Turn the rotary knob to the right ("+" direction) to turn on the Guidelight. To turn off the Guidelight turn the knob counterclockwise ("-" direction) until you hear a 'click'.
  • The brightness of the Guidelight can be adjusted from 10% to 100% using the rotary knob.
  • By rotating the ball in relation to the handle you can rotate the light beam of the Guidelight to use the various features. The ball can rotate 360°.
  • Ambient light: place the Guidelight on a flat horizontal surface or hang the Guidelight with the handle on a hook. Turn the light beam down into the body. You will feel a click when this position is reached.
  • Work Light: place the Guidelight on a flat horizontal surface or hang the Guide Light with the handle on a hook and turn the light beam to the work surface.
Operation and usage - Work Light
  • Flashlight: hold the Guidelight with one hand by the handle and turn the light beam forward.
    Operation and usage - Flashlight

Charging

  • The Guidelight flashes 3 times when the battery has only 10% of its energy left.
  • The Guidelight is charged via a micro-USB connector. Opening the black rubber cap on the side of the ball accesses the micro-USB port.
  • Connect the micro-USB connector of the adapter to the Micro-USB port of the Guidelight and connect the adapter to an AC power socket to charge the Guidelight.
  • It takes 4 hours to fully recharge an empty battery.
  • Charge the battery completely when charging it for the first time.
  • Do not charge the battery when its temperature is below 0°Celsius.
  • There is a battery indicator light above the micro-USB connector. The indicator light flashes green when charging and burns continuously when the battery is fully charged.
  • A fully charged battery will supply energy for approximately 10 hours of light in full intensity and 150 hours of light when used at lowest intensity.

Why is only the USB cable provided
You probably already have the appropriate Guidelight charger: a charger with a micro-USB connector type B - the most common connecter for charging mobile phones, navigation systems and many cameras. If you don't have one, you can charge the Guidelight with the supplied USB-cable, which you can connect to a device with a standard USB connection, such as your computer and potentially your car or USB power bank. This way you can charge the Guidelight at a maximum number of locations. Should you like to use a separate adapter, it is available at your local electronics store.

Maintenance

  • Carefully clean with soft wet cloth.
  • Do not use any cleaning products that contain chemicals or alcohol.
  • Do not open the Guidelight.
