Connection The WPM 735 is connected by 3 terminal strips which can be pulled out and inserted, thus facilitating on-site wiring and maintenance. The terminal strip with current connections (on top of the meter) can be fixed by two screws in order to prevent unintentional pull-out and thus prevent dangerous induction voltages when current terminals are not connected. -

9. Status Inputs WPM 735 E is equipped with 8 status input channels which can be used, e.g., to acquire switch positions. The meter provides a 30 V supply for this purpose. External contacts can be directly connected. Note: Since there is a internal supply by the meter, no external supply must be connected. -
