To enable remote start for the Enertrak AMF-9920 Series:

1. Set the controller to Auto mode.
2. Configure Parameter 909 as "Remote Start".
3. Ensure a negative signal is present at the configurable digital input.

When configured correctly, the controller will activate the crank relay for the set crank time. The DG (diesel generator) will continue running as long as the negative signal remains and the genset contactor is latched. If mains power returns, the contactor shifts to mains and stops the DG set.

The provided context does not contain specific instructions for resetting the Enertrak AMF-9920 Series after cooling down for 27 seconds. However, to start the genset, all alarms must be cleared. You may need to check for any active alarms and reset them before restarting. If available, follow the standard procedure for exiting fault history or clearing alarms.

SHUTDOWN ALARM ICONS Shutdown alarms are latching and immediately stop the Generator. On initiation of the shutdown Condition the module de-energizes the ‘Genset Contactor Output’ to remove, the load from the generator. Once this has occurred, the module shut down the generator immediately.

Communication Port CAN INTERFACE A) Modules are fitted with the CAN interface as standard and are capable of receiving engine data from engine CAN controllers compliant with the CAN standard. B) CAN enabled engine controllers monitor the engine’s operating parameters such as engine speed, oil pressure, engine temperature C) This allows generator controllers to access these engine parameters with no physical connection to the sensor device.
